Job Type: Draftsperson – Engineering Drawings & Designs for Green Hydrogen Production Facility
Location: Cache Creek
As a Draftsperson, you will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce high-quality, accurate, and detailed engineering drawings for the green hydrogen production facility. You will be responsible for drafting designs for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil systems, including layouts, equipment details, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangement drawings. Your work will be integral to ensuring that the facility’s design meets operational requirements and complies with safety and regulatory standards.
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, process, and civil engineers to draft detailed engineering drawings for the hydrogen production facility.
Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including general arrangement (GA) drawings, layout plans, equipment details, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and isometric piping drawings.
Assist in the preparation of design documentation, ensuring that all drawings are accurate, clear, and meet industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers to update and modify drawings based on feedback and design changes, ensuring that revisions are reflected in the final documentation.
Help ensure that all drafts align with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, CSA, ISO, local codes).
Participate in design reviews, providing input on the layout and spatial arrangement of plant systems and equipment.
Ensure that all design work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of all drawing files, revisions, and related project documentation.
Support the preparation of procurement packages by providing technical drawings for vendor equipment selection and installation.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to clarify drawing details, specifications, and scope of work as needed.
Assist engineers during the construction phase by providing updated drawings and supporting field changes as required.
Contribute to project timelines by ensuring timely submission and revision of design documents.
